Cheese and potatoes have always been a great combination, but they’re somehow even better in a casserole. Bring this tasty side dish to your next tailgate & get ready to put a nice big serving on your friend’s plate!


  • 2 Bags frozen hash browns thawed out
  • 8oz container sour cream
  • 10oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 2 tbsp melted butter


  1. Combine thawed hash brown with sour cream, melted butter, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl
  2. Spread mix out on large casserole dish
  3. Sprinkle corn flakes on top and lightly pour melted butter
  4. Bake on 350 for 45 minutes
  5. Uncover and bake again for an extra 15 minutes
