Maybe not the most healthy recipe in our veggie compilation, but a yummy snack nonetheless! Crispy and delicious!


  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1tsp dried basil
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp chili powder
  • 2tsp granulated sugar
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 cups beer
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Mix all ingredients until light
  2. Toss pickles in flour
  3. Heat oil in a pan at 350 degrees
  4. Dip pickles from flour into batter and drop into pan of oil
  5. Cook until crispy then remove from oil
