Not much of a recipe, but just a strong suggestion.  Take a look and let us know what you think!


  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt or to taste


  1. Trim off the tough bottom of the spear cutting it where it's tough to bend. It should probably be a bit whiter than the other end
  2. Put cut asparagus into a bowl and drizzle with olive oil
  3. Pour a handful of thick, kosher salt on top and then mix again
  4. Place on the cooking grate crosswise so it won't fall through
  5. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes & turn occasionally. Do not let it char!
  6. Remove from grill and serve immediately!
