Ever had a juicy lucy?  Imagine a burger with cheese infused inside of it.  It’s a Minnesota classic & could become your next tailgate classic!


  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 ounces of Cheddar Cheese cut into rectangles
  • 6 Hamburger buns, split


  1. Combine the ground beef with the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix throughily
  2. Divide the meat into eight equal portions & flatten into thin patties, about 1/4 inch thick
  3. Stack the cheese into 4 equal parts
  4. Sandwich one stack of cheese between 2 ground beef patties.
  5. Tightly pinch edges together tightly seal the cheese within the meat.
  6. Repeat with the remaining cheese and patties.
  7. Preheat a cast-iron or other heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat.
  8. If no skillet, then grill burgers
  9. Cook burgers until well browned, about 4 minutes.
  10. If no skillet, then grill burgers, about 4 minutes
  11. Serve on hamburger buns & use any garnishes you'd like!
