Ever had a juicy lucy? Imagine a burger with cheese infused inside of it. It’s a Minnesota classic & could become your next tailgate classic!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 6 ounces of Cheddar Cheese cut into rectangles
- 6 Hamburger buns, split
Directions
- Combine the ground beef with the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix throughily
- Divide the meat into eight equal portions & flatten into thin patties, about 1/4 inch thick
- Stack the cheese into 4 equal parts
- Sandwich one stack of cheese between 2 ground beef patties.
- Tightly pinch edges together tightly seal the cheese within the meat.
- Repeat with the remaining cheese and patties.
- Preheat a cast-iron or other heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat.
- If no skillet, then grill burgers
- Cook burgers until well browned, about 4 minutes.
- If no skillet, then grill burgers, about 4 minutes
- Serve on hamburger buns & use any garnishes you'd like!
