Have you noticed the Philly Cheese Steak theme throughout our cookbook?  Here’s another version but in dip form 🙂

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thinly chopped and grilled shoulder steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced green pepper
  • 8 oz package softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 4 oz shredded provolone cheese

Directions

  1. Flatten Steak & quickly sear on both sides. Do NOT cook throughout
  2. Chop steak into small cubes and set aside
  3. Sauté green peppers and onions until golden brown using olive oil
  4. Set aside green peppers and onions in a bowl.
  5. Mix together cream cheese, provolone cheese, mayo, and chopped steak
  6. Add green peppers and onions to this mix
  7. Pre-Heat Grill to medium heat or Oven to 350
  8. Pour mix into a proper container, and put into cooking unit. Approximately 15-20 minutes
  9. Serve with chips, bread, or a toasted baguette
