This crescent ring is loaded with all the delicious flavors of an Italian Sub.
Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup roasted and drained red bell peppers
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1/3 lb deli salami, sliced
- 1/3 lb deli ham, sliced
- 1/4 lb deli capocollo, sliced
- 1/2 cup hot pepper rings, drained
Directions
- Heat oven to 375
- Unroll cans of dough and separate into 8 rectangles
- Spread out on ungreased pizza pan
- Form a ring shape with rectangle pieces, making dough overlap to hang over edge of pan
- At this point, the dough should resemble the sun
- Layer roasted red bell peppers in center of ring on bottom portion of the rectangles.
- Top this part with half of the cheese amount
- Add the salami, ham, and capocollo slices in layers over the cheese
- Add pepper rings over top part and cover with remaining cheese
- Bring dough rectangle over side of pan up on top of filling, making sure to tuck the dough under the bottom layer to hold tight and secure
- Repeat until entire filling is closed with dough, and sprinkle with black pepper if desired
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown
- Serve like pizza slices
