The Sweet-Hot Sauce makes these ribs a nice change of pace from the standard BBQ ribs you might routinely eat.


  • 2tbsp ground ginger
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1/2tsp dried crushed red pepper
  • 3 slabs pork ribs
  • 2 Limes


  1. Combine ginger, salt, pepper, and red pepper
  2. Rinse and dry ribs and make sure to remove membrane from back of ribs
  3. Rub ribs with limes and take your mixture from the first step and pat into meat, making sure to cover all sides
  4. Wrap ribs with plastic wrap and place in plastic bag
  5. Seal and cover for 8 hours in fridge
  6. Before you grill, let ribs sit for 30 minutes to thaw out
  7. Remove plastic wrap and heat grill
  8. Grill while covered for 40 minutes
  9. Grill for an additional 40 minutes and repositioning the ribs
  10. Reposition again and grill for another 40 minutes
  11. Low grill temp to medium heat and cook for another 30 minutes
  12. Baste with the sauce you made previously
  13. Remove from grill and let stand for 10 minutes at least
