Like the Sounds of Dyn-O-mite, the Golden Girls performances at Alcorn State games are a must-see. The Golden Girls put on incredible routines that you won’t want to miss, so keep an eye out for them throughout the game.

When attending the Alcorn State homecoming game, make sure to attend the homecoming parade before the game. The parade is a great way to get into the Alcorn State spirit and is a must-see for any Alcorn State student or alumni.
4. Soul Bowl
From 1994 to 2012, the rivalry game between Jackson State and Alcorn State was called the Capital Classic and was held in Jackson. However, Alcorn State decided they wanted a piece of the action and the series became a home and home since 2012. There is a lot of bad blood between two Mississippi-based rivals, so make sure to be in attendance when the Braves take on the Tigers.
