The Curve are the only team in town, and the people of Altoona love the Curve, creating one of the best in-game atmospheres in Double-A. Road to the Show Board
Check out the “Road to the Show Board” to see all the former Curve players who have made their way to the major leagues. The board is a fun thing to check out especially if you’re a fan of the Curve’s parent club the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Kids Play Areas
The Altoona Curve offer not one, but two kids play areas. The Begin With Us Toddler Area is located on the upper concourse behind home plate and is the perfect place to take young kids, while the older kids will love the Kids’ Fun Zone down the right field line. No matter how old your kids are, they’ll enjoy the kids play areas at PNG Field.
Opening Day Banners
Around PNG Field are banners honoring all of the Curve’s opening day rosters. Take a walk around the concourse to check them all out before the game.
Skyliner Roller Coaster
One of the defining features of PNG Field is the roller coaster in right field. The Skyliner is part of Lakemont Park, and at night when it’s lit up it provides a fun backdrop to the game.

Kids Run the Bases
Take part in the Kids Run the Bases after every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday game. Kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases after the game just like their favorite players making it a fun event for young fans.
