1. Autographs

If you want to get an autograph at a D-Backs spring training game, then head on down to sections 101-104 and 120-123. Section 120-123 are where you can get autographs from your favorite D-Backs, although there are plenty of autographs to get from their opponents in sections 101-104 as well. The official line is that autographs take place from when the gates open until 40 minutes before the game, but you can usually get them up until the national anthem. Autograph seekers will also want to take advantage of the two D-Backs players signing on the left field concourse as well. These signing sessions take place between 12:00 and 12:15 for day games and 6:00 and 6:15 for night games.

2. Lake

Stop by the lake and see the fish as you make your way from the parking lot to the stadium. Kids especially will love looking at the fish, making the lake a fun part of every D-Backs spring training game.

3. Kids Fun Field

Take the kids to the Kids Fun Field, which is located down the right-field line. The Kids Fun Field opens an hour and ten minutes before the game and features whiffle ball games, making it a fun destination for the whole family.

4. Team Shops

Pick up some D-Backs or Rockies gear from your trip to Salt River Fields. The team shops in the outfield feature three stores full of D-Backs, Rockies, and Salt River Fields gear. Those of you looking to pick up some D-Backs gear will want to head to the store in left field, which has the most extensive selection of D-Backs merchandise.

5. Diamondbacks Practices

If you want to check out the D-Backs practices before the games start, then arrive at the practice diamonds on the “Desert” side of the complex at about 9:00 am. You’ll also be able to catch the Rockies practicing as well making a great experience for any NL West fan.

6. Kids Run the Bases

After every Sunday game, kids have the opportunity to run the bases. Line up behind sections 204 and 205 after the game to take part in the fun.

7. Party Decks

Those of you who are looking to hold a large group event at Salt River Fields will be in luck. Salt River Fields features two parties decks, one down the first base line and one down the third base line. Reserve one of the parties to enjoy an incredible view of the game as well as a fantastic place to socialize.

8. Home Plate Plaza

Take some time before entering the ballpark to enjoy the home plate plaza and its water feature. The water feature is fun to see, so make sure to check it out before the game.

9. Complimentary Sunscreen

You won’t have to worry about getting a sunburn when visiting Salt River Fields thanks to the complimentary sunscreen cart. Stop by the carts in the Banana Boat Lawn area for some complimentary sunscreen during the game.
