History

The Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, or Pomona Raceway, is a ¼-mile drag strip in Pomona, California. The dragstrip opened in 1951 and has been the home of the NHRA Winternationals since 1961. The 40,000-seat racetrack has also hosted the NHRA Finals since 1984.

In addition to hosting drag racing, the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona was home to a dirt oval in the 1950s and a 1.7-mile paved road course from 1998 to 1999.
