The tailgating scene at Cannons games might not be quite as large as it is for Crimson football games, but you’ll still have a great time tailgating here. The lots open four hours before the game giving you plenty of time to grill out and throw back a few beers with friends. Arrive early and enjoy tailgating before a Cannons game.

2. Dedication Plaque and 50th-Anniversary Plaque

Take some time before the game to see the dedication plaque and 50th-anniversary plaque. Both plaques are fun to check out for any Harvard or college football fans, so don’t miss them during your visit to Harvard Stadium.

3. Cannons Fan Zone

Fan Zone at Cannons games starts two hours before the game and features giveaways, games, and more. If you want to enjoy a Cannons gameday to the fullest, make sure to check out the Fan Zone before the game.

4. Boston Cannons-New York Lizards Rivalry

Like other Boston and New York teams, the Cannons and Lizards have a fierce rivalry. The rivalry between these two northeast teams dates back to the beginning of the league and has been going strong ever since. You won’t want to miss it when the Cannons take on the Lizards, so get your tickets when New York comes to town.

5. Boomer

Keep an eye out for the beloved Boston Cannons mascot Boomer. Fans young and old love Boomer and his antics. If you see Boomer make sure to give him a high-five during your trip to a Cannons game.

6. Cannons Merchandise

Show your support for the Cannons by picking up a Cannons jersey or t-shirt at the game. You’ll find a wide selection of Cannons merchandise available for sale, so you won’t have to worry about going home empty-handed.

7. Boston Cannon Dance Team

Don’t miss performances by the Boston Cannons Dance Team throughout the game. These talented dancers do a fantastic job of entertaining the crowd, so stay in your seat when you see them take the stage.

8. Boston Cannons-Chesapeake Bayhawks Rivalry

It’s always a big game when the Cannons take on the Bayhawks. Both teams are original members of the league, and as a result, there is a lot of history between the two. Make sure to be in attendance when the Cannons face off against the Bayhawks.
