The student section at Campbell is amazing, and their presence makes Campbell one of the better places to take in a football game in the FCS.

The Sound of the Sandhills will keep you entertained throughout the game with their tunes, and you won’t want to miss appearances by Gaylord, the cheerleaders, or the dance team. All four groups put on quite the show creating a memorable experience at every Campbell football game.

Gaylord the Camel
Campbell’s mascot is named after Campbell alum and Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry. He gets into all kinds of shenanigans at games and is a fun part of the festivities, so keep an eye out for Gaylord when visiting Barker-Lane Stadium.
