Rival Team: Detroit Pistons
The Bulls-Pistons rivalry dates back to the 1980s when Michael Jordan and company squared off against the Bad Boys. The two teams met in the playoffs four years in a row from 1988 to 1991, and the Pistons even developed a famous strategy for beating Jordan known as the “Jordan Rules.” The rivalry remains one of the most hotly contested to this day thanks to the Bulls and Pistons sharing the Central Division. If you want to attend a high stakes game at the United Center, then make sure to circle the Pistons games on your calendar.
Bulls vs Knicks
Rival Team: New York Knicks
Similar to the Bulls-Pistons rivalry, the Bulls-Knicks rivalry came about during the Jordan era. Both teams were highly successful during the 1990s, which led to the two teams meeting in the playoffs numerous times. The Bulls got the best of the Knicks, for the most part, however, in 1994 the Knicks defeated the Bulls 4-3 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals thanks to one of the most questionable calls in NBA history in Game 5 of the series. The Bulls-Knicks rivalry is still somewhat heated thanks to the rivalry between the cities of Chicago and New York. If you want to see one of the best games of the season, then look out for when the Knicks come to town.

Rival Team: Miami Heat
The Bulls-Heat rivalry stems from the abundance of playoff matches between these two teams. During the Jordan era the Bulls got the best of the Heat winning all three playoff matchups in the 1990s, however, since then the Heat have gotten their revenge taking three of the last four playoff meetings. Most recently, new members have been added to the rivalry thanks to Dwayne Wade’s move from Miami to his hometown Bulls. You won’t want to miss Wade square off against his old team, so make sure to be in attendance for the Bulls-Heat games.
