History

Located 12 miles from Austin, Texas, the Circuit of the Americas is the site of the annual Formula One United States Grand Prix. The Circuit of the Americas seats 120,000 and opened in 2012.

In addition to hosting the United States Grand Prix, the Circuit of the Americas also hosts the Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. Outside of racing, the Circuit of the Americas hosted the Summer X-Games from 2014 to 2016.
