The Rockies and Giants have been divisional rivals since Colorado entered the league in 1993 and there is no love lost when these two meet.

Rockies vs Dodgers

Rival Team: Los Angeles Dodgers

Like the Giants, the Dodgers have been the Rockies divisional rivals since the franchise’s inception. The two teams have come to blows a couple of times over the years, and the atmosphere is always tense when the Dodgers are in town, so don’t miss a Rockies-Dodgers game at Coors Field.

Rockies vs Diamondbacks

Rival Team: Arizona Diamondbacks

High Scoring Games

Due to the high altitude in Colorado, the ball travels approximately nine percent further which means lots of high scoring games. The league has made some changes to the ball to help reduce the number of homers hit, but you’ll still be in for a high-scoring contest when attending a game at Coors Field.

Fight Songs

  1. Hey Baby

Played during the seventh inning stretch

    Hey, hey hey baby!
I want to know if you’ll be my girl
    Hey, hey hey baby!
I want to know if you’ll be my girl
When I saw you walking down the street
I said that’s a kind of girl I’d like to meet
She’s so pretty, Lord she’s fine
I’m gonna make her mine, all mine

    Hey, hey hey baby!
I want to know if you’ll be my girl
When you turned and walked away
Thats when I want to say
C’mon baby, give me a whirl
I want to know if you’ll be my girl

    Hey, hey hey baby!
I want to know if you’ll be my girl
When you turned and walked away
Thats when I want to say
C’mon baby, give me a whirl
I want to know if you’ll be my girl

    Hey, hey hey baby!
I want to know if you’ll be my girl
Hey, hey hey hey hey, baby
    C’mon, baby now

  2. Rocky Mountain Way

    Spent the last year
    Rocky Mountain way
    Couldn’t get much higher
    Out to pasture
    Think it’s safe to say
    Time to open fire

And we don’t need the ladies
    Cryin’ ’cause the story’s sad
    ‘Cause the Rocky Mountain way
Is better than the way we had

    Well he’s tellin’ us this
    And he’s tellin’ us that
    Changes it ev’ry day
    Says it doesn’t matter
    Bases are loaded
    And Casey’s at bat
    Playin’ it play-by-play
    Time to change the batter

And we don’t need the ladies
Cryin’ ’cause the story’s sad, uh huh
    Rocky Mountain way
Is better than the way we had
