Colorado State and Colorado have a fierce in-state rivalry. Every matchup between the Rams and Buffaloes is a can’t miss event regardless of the sport. There are always lots of bragging rights when these two Colorado-based rivals meet, so make sure to attend the annual Colorado State-Colorado game.
The intense rivalry between Colorado State and Air Force carries over from the gridiron to the hardwood. The two schools flat out don’t like each other, and a few years ago things came to blows when a mini-brawl broke out. There is plenty of bad blood between Colorado State and Air Force, so don’t miss it when the Falcons come to town.
The rivalry between Colorado State and Utah State began during 1939-40 season. The two were conference rivals in the Mountain States Conference up until 1962, and would regularly schedule each other afterward. In 2013, Colorado State and Utah State once again became conference rivals, so make sure to get tickets when these two meet.

The Rams lead the all-time series between themselves and the in-state Denver Pioneers 92-68. There are lots of bragging rights when these two Colorado schools meet, so don’t miss it.

A Colorado State game is an excellent experience for any college basketball fan. Moby Arena is home to a fun and raucous in-game atmosphere and has many unique design features. The atmosphere at Colorado State is incredible for a Mountain West school. From the enthusiasm shown by the fans and students at Colorado state, you’d think the program was a perennial contender. The band and spirit squads also put on a great show making a Rams basketball game an experience you won’t soon forget.
Moby Arena itself is also excellent. The arena has a unique look thanks to the ram’s horn designs that you’ll find around the venue. It also houses many extras including the Colorado State Sports Hall of Fame. At the Hall of Fame, you can see artifacts from throughout Colorado State athletics history, making it a must see for anyone attending a game.
Additionally, Fort Collins is a beautiful city to visit and has plenty of offer. Here you’ll find lots of places to eat and drink including CB & Potts Restaurant and Road 34. Fort Collins is also home to tons of craft breweries and Old Town Fort Collins meaning that if you’re planning a weekend trip, there is plenty to see.

Hanging from the rafters of Moby Arena are banners honoring the best players and teams in Colorado State men’s and women’s basketball history. The banners do a great job of honoring Rams greats such as Becky Hammon, so take them all in.
CSU Band
The CSU pep band always does and excellent job keeping energy high and getting the fans into the game. One of the better bands you will see, they’ll pump up the crowd throughout the game, so enjoy the atmosphere created by the pep band.
The costumed version of the Colorado State mascot makes regular appearances at basketball games is quite a hoot. CAM performs all kinds of routines with the cheer squad and is a must-see for anyone attending a CSU basketball game.
Wear green when attending a CSU basketball game. Rams fans show off their school pride by wearing green on game days, and the tradition helps create an excellent home court advantage as well.

Colorado State’s student section provides a great atmosphere at Rams games and is a can’t miss aspect of any CSU basketball games. The students here show incredible support for their team and win or lose they’ll remain loud throughout the game.
