1. Mega Tailgate
All of the Crew supporter groups throw their tailgates in the Mega Tailgate area meaning you’ll find lots of fans here and a lively atmosphere. Whether you’re a member of any of the supporter groups or not you’ll have a blast tailgating in the Mega Tailgate Area.
The Nordecke is home to all of the Columbus Crew supporter groups and is the place to sit if you really want to get into the Crew game day spirit. All the supporter groups come together in the Nordecke to show their support for the Crew through chants and songs, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the Nordecke.
3. Heineken Star Lounge
If you’re looking to beat the heat or escape the cold, look no further than the Heineken Star Lounge. The climate-controlled bar features a variety of craft beer options and tons of TVs meaning you won’t miss any of the action.
4. Crew Kicker Plaza
Located right inside the South Gate, Crew Kicker Plaza is the perfect place to take the kids when they get restless during the game. The plaza features a variety of kids games including inflatables and much more. The area also features pre and most match concerts as well.
Columbus Crew fans go all out to celebrate the start of the season and even refer to the first game as “Crewsmas.” You’ll find a particularly lively atmosphere at the tailgate before the first game of the season, so make sure to be in attendance when the Crew kickoff the season.
6. Lamar Hunt Statue
Before the game take some time to check out the Lamar Hunt statue. The statue honors one of the pivotal figures in the founding of Major League Soccer as well as the Columbus Crew making it a must-see for any fan.
7. Milestone Markers
Located near the Lamar Hunt statue, the Columbus Crew milestone markers honor the biggest moments in club history. Take a minute to view them all and remember the Crew’s glorious past.
8. Crew Supporters Union Tailgate
Located in the southwest corner lot of the Nordecke Mega Tailgate area, the Crew Supporters Union Tailgate is a great place to throw back a few beers with some diehard Crew fans. Best of all each month the Crew Supporters Union has a different theme meaning you’ll find something new each time. The tailgate starts two and a half hours before kickoff, so bring something to share and join in the fun.
9. Championship Shield
Take a minute during the game to check out the championship shields. The shields honor the Crew’s MLS Cup, MLS Supporters Shield, and US Open Cup winning sides.
S.C. is the official mascot of the Columbus Crew and the son of the Crew’s original mascot Crew Cat. You can see S.C. roaming the stadium and tailgate before and during the game, so keep an eye out for him during your trip to Mapfre Stadium.
