Atmosphere
The Daytona International Speedway is home to one of the best racing experiences as well as one of the best tailgating experiences in NASCAR. NASCAR fans from all over the country come to Daytona for the Daytona 500 and the Coke Zero 400 meaning you’ll be in for an all-out party when attending a major race at the Daytona International Speedway.
There is a ton of partying to do during race weeks, and as a result, you’ll want to camp out at the track to get the most out of the experience. The fans here fire up the smokers and camp inside the track for a few days where they party long into the night with fellow NASCAR fans creating a fun and festive atmosphere.
In addition to the partying, there is also a ton to see when attending a race at the Daytona International Speedway. The people at the speedway go all out to put on a fun event for the fans as the entire weekend is packed full of activities, displays, and much more. The Fanzone is a must for anyone attending the race as it provides you with an incredible amount of entertainment that includes driver meet and greets, memorabilia from past races, the ability to sign the start/finish line before the race, and much more. If you want to get the full Daytona 500 or Coke Zero 400 experience, then make sure to get Fanzone passes.
The Fanzone is also where the pre-race concert and Pre-Race Extravaganza take place. Both events are incredible parts of the NASCAR race weekends, so make sure to check both of them out during your visit. The Pre-Race Extravaganza is especially fun for NASCAR fans as it is the perfect way for you to get pumped up for the race before it starts.
While the Fanzone is where you’ll find the majority of the action during race weekend, don’t forget to check out the Midway. The Midway is the best place to pick up souvenirs during your visit to the Daytona International Speedway and is also where you can find a variety of food and drink options.
Finally, if you’re looking to tailgate on race day, then make sure to get to the track early. Parking here may be free, but it fills up quickly meaning that you’ll have to get your day started off early. You’ll make a lot of friends tailgating at the Daytona 500 and Coke Zero 400 as everyone here loves racing. Just fire up the grill and break out the beers to have a great time tailgating at the Daytona International Speedway.
