Colonels fans love tailgating, and you’ll find parking lots full of fans dressed in maroon and white tailgating before the game. Whether you like to grill out or just throw back a few drinks with friends, you’ll have a good time tailgating here at Eastern Kentucky.
There is lots of camaraderie among Colonels fans on game days and just about everyone you meet will be friendly and happy to talk ball. Don’t hesitate to start a conversation as you’ll make new friends quickly when tailgating before an Eastern Kentucky game.
Tailgating is a big part of the football culture, and as a result, you’ll have a lot of fun tailgating when taking in a Colonel’s game at Roy Kidd Stadium.

The Moberly Building next to Roy Kidd Stadium is home to the football team offices as well as banners celebrating the Colonels two national championships. Stop in and see the banners before taking in a game at Roy Kidd Stadium.
Where to tailgate

Colonel Club and Alumni Coliseum Parking LotsIf you want to tailgate, then make sure to park in the Colonel Club or Alumni Coliseum parking lots. These lots are the only place tailgating is allowed on the Eastern Kentucky campus.
