The SeaWolves are the closest team geographically to the RubberDucks and the affiliate of the Detroit Tigers who are a divisional rival of the RubberDucks major league affiliate the Cleveland Indians. As a result of the closeness of the two teams and their parent club, there is always a lot at stake when the RubberDucks and SeaWolves square off. Don’t miss it when the RubberDucks come to Erie.
The SeaWolves used to be affiliated with the Pirates, and the Curve are the Pirates current Double-A affiliate creating a fun rivalry between these two division rivals. Atmosphere
UPMC Park is located in downtown Erie meaning you won’t find a lot of traditional tailgating around the ballpark. That said there are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants nearby to check out. Sluggers Bar & Grill is located right across the street from the stadium, and if you venture a bit further, you’ll find area favorites including Calamari’s Squid Row and Plymouth Tavern among others.
Additionally, take some time before the game to see the frog statue outside UPMC Park’s main entrance. I’m not sure the significance of the frog, but fans young and old will have a fun time getting their picture taken with it.
Arrive at a SeaWolves game early so you can enjoy downtown Erie before the game.
The kids will love the statue of a frog with a baseball bat outside the stadium. The sculpture presents an excellent photo op, so snap a picture of yourself with the frog before entering the ballpark.

Located behind home plate are boards displaying the Eastern League Standings, Eastern League leaders, and tonight's lineups. The boards are perfect for anyone who isn’t in the know and wants to get a better idea of what is going on around the Eastern League.
Buck Night is the best deal of the season. On Buck Night you can purchase hot dogs, select domestic beers, popcorn, and soft drinks for just a $1 a piece. If you can only attend one SeaWolves game, make sure it’s Buck Night.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get an autograph from your favorite SeaWolf before the game. Arrive early and get a spot along the baselines for your chance secure a signature from SeaWolves players and personnel.
