In Game
The fun of an FAU basketball game begins well before tip-off, as you’ll find a fun tailgating experience outside of Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. At a lot of schools it’s too cold for tailgating, but at FAU the beautiful weather means fans can tailgate all year long. Arrive early and pack your tailgate gear because you won’t want to miss the opportunity to tailgate with die-hard Owls fans.
After the tailgate, head into Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena where you’ll experience a great in-game atmosphere. FAU may be a smaller school, and Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena may only seat 5,000, but that doesn’t mean the fans inside don’t go all out to cheer on their team. The student section has an impressive array of chants, and if you’re lucky enough to attend an FAU-FIU game, you’ll find everyone decked out in red.
In addition to the great fan support, you’ll also find nice tributes to past FAU student athletes around the arena. The FAU Hall of Fame honors the best student-athletes in the school’s history, and you’ll find retired number and championship banners hanging above the court. Take some time before the game to check it all out and learn more about Owls athletics.
