In Game
Fordham may not be the biggest or most well-known program in college football, but they have quite an impressive history for an FCS school. The Fordham won the 1942 Sugar Bowl and was the home of the famed Seven Blocks of Granite, which featured Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi. As a result of the Rams strong football tradition, the team has an impressive following, and you’ll be able to feel the history that surrounds the team when taking in a game at Coffey Field.
Rams fans live and die with this team creating a fun atmosphere at every Fordham football game. The fans pack the stands, and no section does a better job of showing their support than the student section. The students go all out to support the team, and on game days you’ll hear quite the roar coming from their section of the stands.
College football fans will also love the pageantry of a Fordham game, which features an excellent pep band, cheer team, and mascot. All three put on a fantastic show, so don’t miss any of the groups during the game.

Fight Songs
-
The Ram
Hail! men of Fordham, hail! on to the fray!
Once more our foes assail in strong array.
Once more the old Maroon, waves on high
We’ll sing our battle song.
We do or die. With a Ram, a Ram, a Ram for victory
With a Ram, a Ram, a Ram for loyalty.
To the fight, to fight,
To win our laurels bright!Hail! men of Fordham, hail! on to the fray!
Once more our foes assail in strong array.
Once more the old Maroon, waves on high
We’ll sing our battle song.
We do or die. -
Alma Mater Fordham
O Alma Mater Fordham,
how mighty is thy power
To link our hearts to thee
In love that grows with every hour.
Thy winding elms, thy hallowed halls.
Thy lawns, thine ivy-mantled walls,
O Fordham Alma Mater,
What mem’ries each recalls.
O Alma Mater Fordham
While yet thy life blood starts.
Shrined by thy sacred image
Within our heart of hearts.
And in the years that are to be,
May life and love be true to me.
O Fordham Alma Mater,
As I am true to thee.
