1. Larry A. Shehady Clock Tower

The 13 story clock tower is the signature feature of Save Mart Center. The tower is named after donor Lary A. Shehady and is a can’t miss when attending a Bulldogs basketball game.

2. Bronze Bulldog

Inside the Shehady lobby is a ten ft tall bronze bulldog. The statue does an excellent job of showing off Fresno State’s school pride and is a great photo op for anyone attending a Bulldogs basketball game.

3. Victory E. Bulldog

Victory E. Bulldog is the live bulldog mascot for Fresno State. He makes halftime appearances and amps up the crowd every time he shows up, so don’t miss it when Victor E. Bulldog takes the court.

4. Fresno State Memorabilia

Around the concourse, you’ll find several display cases filled with Fresno State memorabilia. Each exhibit is fun to see, so take a walk around the concourse before the game and check them all out.

5. Fresno State-San Jose State Rivalry

Regardless of the sport Fresno State and San Jose State do not get along. The two schools have a long-standing rivalry on the gridiron, and there are plenty of bragging rights on the line when the two meet on the hardwood as well. Make sure to be in attendance when the Spartans come to town as you wouldn’t want to miss this matchup.

6. Banners

The Bulldogs have several banners hanging above the court celebrating the basketball program’s accomplishments over the years. The banners showcase the Bulldogs conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, so take a minute to remember your favorite Fresno State basketball memories.

7. Timeout

Timeout is the official mascot of the Fresno State Bulldogs. The costumed mascot was introduced in 1981 to replace a live bulldog and has become one of the more popular aspects of game days over the years. One of Timeout’s most famous routines is pretending to fight opposing team mascots, so keep an eye out for him at the game.

8. Red Wave

Bulldogs fans are known as the Red Wave as all throughout the stands you’ll see a sea of red. Everyone comes to the Fresno State in red, so make sure to join in this great tradition to provide the Bulldogs the best home court advantage possible

10. Fresno State-San Diego State Rivalry

The Bulldogs and Aztecs battle for the Oil Can on the gridiron, and you better believe that same animosity carries over to the hardwood. The two California-based schools can’t stand each other, so you’ll be in for an intense matchup when attending a Fresno State-San Diego State game.
