History

Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas is the home of the Texas League’s Frisco RoughRiders. The 10,316-seat ballpark opened in 2003 and cost $22.7 million to build. Dr Pepper Ballpark is 335 ft to left field, 409 ft to center field, and 335 ft to right field.

In 2016, the pool in right field was replaced with a lazy river.

The first game at Dr Pepper Ballpark took place on April 3, 2003, when the RoughRiders took on the Tulsa Drillers. Since then, the ballpark has been home to several other events in addition to RoughRiders baseball. Dr Pepper Ballpark has hosted the Tournament of Champions high school baseball tournament since 2004 and was the site of the 2005, 2009, and 2017 Texas League All-Star Game.
