History

FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is the home of the Eastern League’s Harrisburg Senators. The 6,187-seat ballpark opened in 1987 and cost $1.3 million to build. FNB Field is 325 ft to left field, 400 ft to center field, and 325 ft to right field.

From 2008 to 2010, FNB Field underwent a $45 million renovation. The first phase of the renovation was completed in 2009 and added a public plaza and entrance in left field, an outfield boardwalk, a new scoreboard, a new left field seating area, an outfield bar, and a baseball operations building. The second phase of the project was finished in 2010 and upgraded the seating bowl, added 20 luxury boxes, created the “Midway,” added a new press box, and renovated the home and visitors clubhouses.

The Senators set their home attendance record at FNB Field on September 1, 2011, when 8,637 came out to watch Stephen Strasburg make a rehab start.
