Lafayette-Lehigh is the most played rivalry in college football as well as the longest-running rivalry having been played every year since 1897. Due to the long running nature of the rivalry, there is a lot of animosity between the two schools making it one of the fiercest rivalries in college football. 2. Pep Band

One of the unique things about attending a Lafayette game is the fact the school has a pep band rather than a marching band. The pep band still performs a halftime show though, so don’t worry as you’ll get your money’s worth from the Lafayette band.

3. The Leopard

Enjoy the antics of The Leopard during the game. Lafayette’s mascot gets into all kinds of shenanigans throughout the game making him a fun part of your visit to Fisher Stadium.

4. Lafayette-Bucknell Rivalry

The rivalry between Bucknell and Lafayette began in 1883 and has been an annual fixture since 1945. You’ll be in for a treat when these two Patriot League rivals square off, so don’t miss it when Bucknell comes to town.

5. Lafayette Entrance

Get to your seat early, so you don’t miss the Leopards entrance onto the field. The team runs through an inflatable leopard head accompanied by pyrotechnics creating quite the scene. The entrance works the crowd into a frenzy and is a can’t-miss part of any Lafayette game.

6. Cheerleaders

Join the cheerleaders as they help propel the Leopards to victory with their cheers. The cheerleaders do a fantastic job of pumping up the crowd throughout the game making them a memorable part of any Leopards game.

7. Lafayette-Penn Rivalry

Make sure to be in attendance when Lafayette takes on Penn. The longtime rivals have been playing since the Leopards’ inaugural season in 1882 making the Lafayette-Penn rivalry one of the oldest in college football history.

8. Homecoming

You won’t find a better time to attend a Lafayette football game than homecoming. Homecoming features a bunch of fun activities surrounding the game and is a can’t miss for any Lafayette student or alumni.
