The Hawks Nest is home to the loudest and craziest fans at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The ULM students go all out to support their team, and even when the Warhawks are struggling they remain standing and cheering. If you want really to get into a Warhawks basketball game, then make sure to join the student section.

2. Technical Fowls

The Technical Fowls is the name of the ULM pep band, and they do an excellent job of creating a fun atmosphere at Warhawks basketball games. The band’s performance goes a long way in making attending a Warhawks basketball an enjoyable event, so enjoy their performance throughout the game.

3. UL-Monroe - UL-Lafayette Rivalry

The Warhawks have an intense in-state rivalry with fellow Sun Belt members UL-Lafayette. The rivalry extends across a variety of sports and there is no love lost between these two universities making it a must-see event whenever the Warhawks and Cajuns square off.

4. Retired Numbers and Conference Championship Banners

Check out the retired numbers and conference championship banners hanging above the court. The banners honor ULM legends such as Glynn Saulters and are a must-see for any Sun Belt basketball game, so take them all in during your trip to Monroe.

5. Ace the Warhawk

Ace the Warhawks is the official mascot of ULM, and a can’t miss part of any ULM sporting event. Ace gets into all kinds of antics during the game, so keep an eye out for him.

6. Wall of Fame

Don’t miss the ULM athletics wall of fame when entering Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The wall honors all of the best athletes with a plaque in their honor and is a can’t miss for any Warhawks fan.

7. UL-Monroe - Arkansas State Rivalry

The rivalry between the Warhawks and Red Wolves may be more heated on the gridiron, but there is still plenty of hate between the two when they meet on the hardwood. No matter what the teams’ records are coming into the game, there is always a lot on the line when Louisiana-Monroe and Arkansas State play.
