History

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a 1.058-mile oval racetrack in Loudon, New Hampshire and is the home of the New Hampshire 301 and the New England 300. “The Magic Mile” opened in 1990 and it seats 88,000.

In addition to hosting NASCAR races, the New Hampshire Motor Speedway has also hosted several other types of races. From 1992 to 1995,  the track was the site of CART series races, and from 1996 to 1998 it hosted Indy Racing League races. Additionally, the Speedway is home to the Loudon Classic motorcycle race.
