Atmosphere
The Oakland Coliseum offers a great pregame experience between their unique traditions from fans who spend countless hours at the field to the amount of people who love to tailgate before the first pitch. The fans around here bleed green and gold and bring their love of baseball to the game. Although the stadium is a bit outdated, that doesn’t take away from the loyalty and excitement the Oakland A’s fans bring to each and every game.
The Oakland Athletics fan base is knowledgeable and oddly endearing; they embrace their underdog reputation with loyalty and respect for their team. This dedication can be felt in the atmosphere while wandering through the many tailgating lots outside the stadium. Tailgating at the Coliseum has built up steam in recent years as committed fans continue to arrive three hours prior to game time to celebrate their love for the Athletics.
It may not be flashy, but you’ll have a great time tailgating outside the Coliseum before an A’s game.
