Mantle is the most famous player in the history of Oklahoma as well as one of the best of all-time, and as a result, you’ll see plenty of tributes to him around the ballpark. Fans will also want to take a minute to see the busts of some of the other greatest players outside the ballpark as well.

Johnny Bench, Mickey Mantle, and Warren Spahn Statues

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark honors three of the best players in baseball history with ties to Oklahoma with statues outside the ballpark. The statue of Johnny Bench is located near the home plate entrance, the one of Mickey Mantle is outside the third base pavilion, and the Warren Spahn statue is outside the right field gate. Stop by all three statues and snap a picture before entering the stadium.

History of Bricktown Murals

The “History of Bricktown” murals are located right outside the home plate entrance and celebrate the history of the Bricktown neighborhood. There are six murals in total, so take some time to see all of them before the game.

Oklahoma Baseball Heroes Busts

Check out the Oklahoma baseball heroes busts outside the park to learn more about some of the best ballplayers in Oklahoma history. The busts honor all-time greats such as Allie Pierce Reynolds and are a must-see for any baseball fan.

Bricktown Canal

The Bricktown Canal offers a similar experience to the San Antonio Riverwalk and is a can’t miss for anyone making their first visit to Oklahoma City. Take a walk of the Bricktown Canal before the game to get the full Oklahoma City experience.

Baseball Hall of Famers Displays

All around the concourse, you’ll see pictures and bios of some of the greatest players from the state of Oklahoma. The displays contain pictures from the Baseball Hall of Fame Library in Cooperstown and are a must-see for any baseball fan visiting the park.

The playground is the perfect place to take restless kids during the game. The play structure provides a great place for kids to work out their excess energy before or during the game.
