Atmosphere

Omaha isn’t just one of Peyton Manning’s favorite words it’s also an excellent place to tailgate. Nebraskans know how to tailgate, which can be seen on Saturdays in the fall and it’s no different when it comes to Omaha Storm Chasers games.

The Storm Chasers provide one of the most tailgate friendly experiences in the league as you’ll find plenty of space to set up a tailgate at Werner Park as well as free parking. Arrive early claim your space, set up your grill, table, and cooler, and you’ll be in for a good time when attending a Storm Chasers game.

The tailgaters outside Werner Park are mighty friendly, and you’ll have no problem making friends quickly if you bring something to share. Whether it’s some local brews, barbecue, potato salad, or a dessert, Storm Chasers fans love to show off their tailgate wares to fellow fans.

Finally, before entering the game make sure to get a picture of the Bob Gibson statue outside the main entrance. The Omaha native is one of the best pitchers in baseball history, and his statue is a must-see for any diehard baseball fan.

General Parking (Lots F2, F3, and F4)

Those of you who want to park close to the stadium will want to pay $5 for General Parking. General Parking is an excellent place to tailgate and allows drinking, grilling, and tailgate games. Just make sure to keep your grilling and games on the grassy areas.

Free Parking

If you don’t want to pay for parking and don’t mind walking, then the Free Parking lots are the place for you. Free Parking has the same tailgating rules as General Parking, so just come out and set up your cooler and grill and you’ll be in for a fun afternoon of tailgating.

An Omaha Storm Chasers game is the perfect family outing and offers something for everyone, so no matter what your age or interest in baseball you’ll have a fantastic time at Werner Park. The Storm Chasers go all out to keep the kids entertained at Werner Park as they provide tons of kids entertainment. Whether it’s the basketball court, Borsheims Diamond, the mini golf course, or the Family Fun Zone, the kids will love attending a Storm Chasers game.

It’s not just the kids who will have a fun time at an Omaha Storm Chasers game; adults will love the Downdraught Bar in left field and the Cresa Club. Both offer great places to grab a drink at the game, so if you’re looking to let loose a bit, then you’ll have no trouble doing so at a Storm Chasers game.

Lastly, baseball fans will love having the opportunity to watch future Royals stars take the field. Some of the Royals best players over the past few years have come through Omaha including Eric Hosmer, so enjoy watching the stars of tomorrow take the field at Werner Park.

Autograph Bridge

Stop by the Autograph Bridge in left field before the game to get an autograph from your favorite Storm Chaser. Fans young and old alike enjoy getting autographs from future stars, so make sure to arrive early.

Downdraught Bar

The Downdraught Bar is located in left field under the scoreboard and is the perfect place to grab a drink during the game. The bar offers Bottoms Up draft beer, spirits, and an excellent view of the action on the field.

Basketball Court

If you feel like shooting some hoops during the game, then stop by the half-court basketball court in left field. The basketball court is an excellent place for kids to work out their excess energy during the game.

Borsheims Diamond

Play some wiffle ball at the park at Borsheims Diamond in left field. The diamond is a great place to get in a quick game with the kids before the action on the field starts, so arrive early and check it out.

Family Fun Zone

Take the kids to the Family Fun Zone in left field during your visit to Werner Park. The Family Fun Zone features a carousel, inflatables, a play structure and more making it a fun place to for kids to hang out during the game.

Cresa Club

Those of you with club seats, suite seats, or tickets to one of the party decks will want to check out the Cresa Club. The Cresa Club features unique food and drink options you can’t find elsewhere in the park, so stop by and check them out.

Gary Green’s Mini Golf

Play a round of six-hole mini golf at Gary Green’s in right field. Mini golf is fun for the whole family, so stop by for a round before the game starts or if the kids get restless.

Team Store

Pick up a Storm Chasers cap, t-shirt, jersey, or other souvenir at the team store. The team store has just about any Storm Chasers merchandise you could want, meaning you won’t have to worry about leaving empty-handed.

Stir Up the Storm
