History

Werner Park near Papillion, Nebraska is the home of the Pacific Coast League’s Omaha Storm Chasers. The 9,023-seat ballpark opened in 2011 and cost $36 million to build. Werner Park’s dimensions are 310 ft to left field, 402 ft to center field, and 315 ft to right field.

Werner Park opened with a high school baseball game between Papillion South and Papillion-LaVista on April 11, 2011, and since then has hosted several notable events. The Storm Chasers played their first game at the ballpark on April 16, 2011, against the Nashville Sound. More recently, Werner Park hosted the Triple-A All-Star Game in 2015.
