Penguins Stadium Guide

In Game

The Penguins were once on the verge of moving, but those days are long gone thanks to the teams move into the PPG Paints Arena in 2010. Nowadays Pens games are a tough ticket to get as the team has sold out every game for a few years. The surge in the team’s popularity has the Pens rivaling the Steelers as Pittsburgh most popular team. However, it’s hardly likely the Steelers will be overtaken.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are a big reason for the increase in interest in the team. The Pens have two of the best players in the league making a trip to Pittsburgh a must for any hockey fan out there. Whether it’s seeing a game in Pittsburgh or catching the Pens when they come to town, there will always be plenty of reasons to attend a game when these two take the ice.

PPG Paints Arena also does an excellent job of paying tribute to the Penguins history including the team’s best player of all-time Mario Lemieux. All around PPG Paints Arena, you’ll see tributes to Le Magnifique including a statue and a mosaic. He also makes an appearance in All-Time Team Zone, and you can find plenty of Mario memorabilia at the Penguins Foundation Auctions. That said it’s impossible to say he’s over celebrated seeing as he saved professional hockey in Pittsburgh not once but twice.

A trip to Pittsburgh is an excellent chance to see the some of the greatest players of the past and present, so book your trip today.

  2. Party Hard

    Penguins' Goal song

When it’s time to party we will party hard

    You,
You work all night (all night)
And when you work you don’t feel all right
    And when,
When things stop feeling all right (all right)
    And everything is all right

‘Cos we will never listen to your rules (no)
We will never do as others do (no)
Know what we want and we get it from you
Do what we like and we like what we do

So let’s get a party going (let’s get a party going)
Now it’s time to party and we’ll party hard (party hard)
Let’s get a party going (let’s get a party going)
When it’s time to party we will always party hard
Party hard (party hard, party hard, party hard party hard, party hard, party hard party hard, party hard, party hard…)

    All right
    You,
    You fight that fight
And when you’re fightin’ you feel all right
    But when,
When things stop feeling all right (all right)
    And everything is all right

‘Cos we will never listen to your rules (no)
We will never do as others do (no)
Know what we want and we get it from you
We do what we like and we like what we do

So let’s get a party going (let’s get a party going)
Now it’s time to party and we’ll party hard (party hard)
Let’s get a party going (let’s get a party going)
When it’s time to party we will always party hard
Party hard (party hard, party hard, party hard party hard, party hard, party hard party hard, party hard, party hard party hard, party hard, party hard…)
