Whether you want to hook up your RV or you’re just looking to set up a tent and grill, you’ll find a camping option to meet your needs here at the Richmond Raceway.
If tailgating with your friends isn’t enough to capture your interest, then make sure to check out the Midway. The Midway is home to a wide variety of activities surrounding the race weekend including music, games, giveaways, and more. No matter what you enjoy about attending a race, you’ll likely see something that catches your fancy on the Midway.
Lastly, those of you who are bringing the kids to the race will have an excellent time as well. The Midway is home to the Virginia529 Kids Zone, which is the perfect place to take the kids before the race. The Virginia529 Kids Zone has all kinds of kids activities, games, and displays for them to check out, so stop by before the race

The Midway is located behind the front stretch grandstands and is where you can find souvenirs, food, drinks, music, giveaways, and much more. If you’re looking for somewhere to hang out before the race, then you can’t beat the Midway. Check out the race weekend schedule, so you don’t miss any of the bigger musical acts before the race.
Where to tailgate

Lot F Reserved RV ParkingLocated near Gate 7, Lot F offers dry camping and provides you with portable restrooms and pump-out and fresh water service. Those of you who want to set up shop near Gate 7 will want to secure a spot in Lot F.

Lot J Reserved RV ParkingAnother dry camping spot, Lot J is located to the north of the racetrack. Here you’ll find similar amenities as Lot F but will also have tram service as well.

Lot J Reserved Tent CampingThose of you who don’t have an RV will still be able to camp out in the tent camping area in Lot J. Make the most out of your tailgating experience by camping out even if you don’t have an RV.

Main Reserved RV ParkingYou’ll have a fantastic time camping in the Main Reserved RV Parking area as it not only provides you with the wealth of amenities available in Lot F and J but also offers full hook-ups.

Laburnum Reserved RV ParkingLaburnum Reserved RV Parking provides you with water and electric hook up and is an excellent place to camp a the Richmond Raceway. Just hook up your RV, and you’ll be in for a fun weekend of partying.

General Parking (Lot D and Lot H)Those of you who want to take advantage of free parking will want to set up shop in one of these two lots. Here you’ll be able to tailgate to your heart's content for free making an excellent place to grill out before the race.

Group TailgateIf you’re looking to tailgate with a large group of friends, family, or co-workers, then make sure to get a spot in the Group Tailgate Lot. The lot is located through Gate 6 and is the perfect place to throw a huge tailgate bash.
