When it comes to tailgating in the state of Virginia, you can’t beat the tailgating scene at the Richmond Raceway. NASCAR fans know how to tailgate, and people from all over the tri-state area and even further away come out to tailgate before the Toyota Owners 400 and the Federated Auto Parts 400. The whole weekend is one big party, and you won’t want to miss it, so break out the coolers and grill and join in the fun.

Those of you who really want to get into the tailgating experience will want to reserve a spot in one of the campsites so that you can tailgate throughout the entire weekend. The Richmond Speedway offers camping for everyone as there are a variety of different camping options here. Whether you want to hook up your RV or you’re just looking to set up a tent and grill, you’ll find a camping option to meet your needs here at the Richmond Raceway.

If tailgating with your friends isn’t enough to capture your interest, then make sure to check out the Midway. The Midway is home to a wide variety of activities surrounding the race weekend including music, games, giveaways, and more. No matter what you enjoy about attending a race, you’ll likely see something that catches your fancy on the Midway.

Lastly, those of you who are bringing the kids to the race will have an excellent time as well. The Midway is home to the Virginia529 Kids Zone, which is the perfect place to take the kids before the race. The Richmond Raceway is home to two NASCAR Cup Series races both of which are incredible times to make the trip to Richmond. The Toyota Owners 400 is an excellent spring race that presents a fun way to get out in the beautiful spring weather, and the Federated Auto Parts 400 is the last race of the regular season making it a must-see for NASCAR fans. You’ll have a fantastic time attending either race, but the stakes on the line at the Federated Auto Parts 400 are tough to beat making it one of the best races of the year.

No matter what race you’re attending make sure to take advantage of the several hospitality options available at the Richmond Raceway. The TORQUE Club is the best way to experience the race as not only does it entitle you to many amenities, it also allows you to enjoy outdoor seating and feel a part of the race. The Front Porch is another excellent hospitality option as it leans on the more affordable side and is a great way to get access to all your favorite drivers.
