Slamson is the Kings official mascot and can be found entertaining the crowd throughout the game. He performs all kinds of antics so keep your eyes open for him as you never know what he’ll do next.

4. Downtown Commons

If you’re looking for somewhere to hang out before or after a Kings game, you won’t have to look far. Downtown Commons is home to many bars, restaurants, and retail shops so you can make a day of it during your visit to Golden 1 Center.

5. Sculptures

Make sure to check out the sculptures outside the arena. Jeff Koons “Coloring Book” sculpture is located near the Golden 1 Center’s main entrance and is a must see. There are several other sculptures near the arena as well so make sure to check those out too.

The giant windows at the Golden 1 Center allow fans to get some fresh air while enjoying an NBA game. The windows are the only ones of their kind in the league and will provide you with a nice breeze during the game.

The concession stands at Golden 1 Center feature locally sourced food from within a 150-mile radius. There are also several concession stands from favorite local restaurants including Petra Greek, Mulvaney’s B&L, Lowbrau Bierhall, and Centro among many others, so you’ll be able to get a real taste of Sacramento when visiting the arena.
