History

Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium is the home of the Texas League’s San Antonio Missions. The 9,200-seat stadium opened in 1994 and cost $10.5 million to build. The ballpark is named after Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, and its dimensions are 310 ft to left field, 402 ft to center field, and 340 ft to right field.

Following the 2006 season, the City of San Antonio agreed to $1.2 million worth of renovations to the ballpark, which improved the concession stands, upgraded the sound system, added the Fiesta Deck in left field, and installed a new LED scoreboard.

In addition to being the home of the San Antonio Missions, Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium also hosts a few UTSA Roadrunners baseball games each season, and it was the site of the 2011 Texas League All-Star Game.
