Section 28 is home to the rowdiest fans at Riders games. Those of you who want to sit with the most diehard Riders fans out there and mercilessly heckle the opposition will be right at home in section 28.
2. Gainer the Gopher
Gainer the Gopher is the official mascot of the Roughriders and is a big part of every game. Gainer entertains the crowd throughout the game, so keep an eye out for him as you never know what kind of trouble he’ll get into next.
3. Saskatchewan Roughriders-Winnipeg Blue Bombers Rivalry
The Blue Bombers are the Roughriders’ archrivals, and as a result, you won’t want to miss it when the Blue Bombers come to town. Games between the Roughriders and Blue Bombers typically sell out before the season and feature the liveliest crowds of the season, so if you can only attend one game, then make sure it’s a Roughriders-Blue Bombers game.
4. Rider Drumline
Enjoy the performance of the Rider Drumline when taking in a Riders game at Mosaic Stadium. The drumline consists of 20 of the best percussionists in Riderville and is a can’t miss part of any Roughriders game.
5. Party in the Park
Party in the Park takes place three hours before kickoff in Confederation Park and is the perfect place to hang out before the game. You’ll find food and drink and a lot more here, so stop by Party in the Park before the game.
6. The 620 CKRM Pep Band
The 620 CKRM Pep Band can be heard performing in front of the stadium before the game as well as in the stands throughout the game. The band has been a major part of Roughriders games since 1993, so enjoy their performances during your trip to Mosaic Stadium.
7. Saskatchewan Roughriders-Calgary Stampeders Rivalry
You won’t want to miss it when the Roughriders take on the Stampeders. These two CFL teams have both been members of the West Division throughout their history meaning they have met in the playoffs quite often. Those of you looking to catch a hard fought contests will struggle to find a better one than Calgary-Saskatchewan.
8. Pil Country
Located in the south end zone, Pil Country is the place to watch the game if you want to get loud and cheer on the Roughriders to the fullest. The social standing section is only open to those 19 and older making it the perfect place to get rowdy.
9. The Rider Store
If you want to pick up a souvenir from your trip to a Roughriders game, then the Rider Store is the place to do so. The Rider Store is home to a wide variety of Roughriders gear including t-shirts, jerseys, caps, and more.
10. Saskatchewan Roughriders-Edmonton Eskimos Rivalry
The Roughriders and Eskimos square off three times a season fostering an intense rivalry between the two. Roughriders-Eskimos match-ups are some of the best of the season, so get your tickets for when the Eskimos come to town.
