In Game

Since the Rush’s move to Saskatoon in 2015, they’ve been one of the best teams in the league winning the Champion’s Cup in their first season here and finishing as runners-up last year. As a result, the people of Saskatoon have taken to the team like bees to honey. Everyone in the area loves the team and being that they’re the only pro team in town it’s likely to stay that way.

The crowd and atmosphere at Rush games are incredible. The fans here truly love this team, and they go insane whenever the Rush score. All throughout the game, you’ll hear fans cheering and pounding on their chest to show their support for the team.

In addition to the fantastic fan support, Rush games also feature tons of in-game entertainment. The Crush Dance Team puts on a superb show, and you won’t want to miss the antics of the team’s mascot Bruiser either. Fans will also want to stick around and get an autograph from their favorite players, dancers, and Bruiser after the game.

Finally, SaskTel Centre is home to a variety of extras as well. The banners hanging from the rafters celebrate the Rush’s and WHL’s Saskatoon Blades’ championships, and there is a trophy display filled with awards won by the teams over the years. You’ll also want to make sure to get a picture with the Gordie Howe statue outside the arena.

If you’re in the Saskatoon area and are looking for something to do, then make sure to check out a Saskatchewan Rush game as it’s one of the best entertainment options in the city.
