Don’t miss the Redhawks Walk before the game. The Redhawks Walk takes place two hours before kickoff and features the band and cheerleaders leading the football team to the stadium. It’s the perfect way to get into the game day spirit making it a can’t-miss part of any Southeast Missouri State tailgate.

3. Bellevue Street

If you’re looking for some pre-game entertainment, then head over to Bellevue Street before the game. Here you’ll find inflatables, live music, and much more making it a fantastic place to hang out before the game.

4. SEMO Marching Band

Enjoy the musical performance of the SEMO Marching Band during the game. The band is a big part of the in-game atmosphere at Houck Stadium and does a fantastic job of keeping everyone engaged in the action on the field.

5. Rowdy the Redhawk

Keep an eye out for the Redhawks beloved mascot Rowdy the Redhawk. Rowdy performs all kinds of stunts at games and is a favorite among young fans, making him a memorable part of every Southeast Missouri State football game.

6. Free Parking

Southeast Missouri State offers free parking around campus on game days and tailgating is permitted in all of the lots. Get here early and secure your space for a fun day of Redhawks tailgating.

7. Cheerleaders

Join the cheerleaders as they propel the Redhawks to victory with their cheers and chants. The cheerleaders’ routines will get everyone out of their seats, so join in and show off your SEMO pride.

8. Redhawks Club Hospitality Tent

If you’re a Redhawks Club member, then stop by the Redhawks Club Hospitality Tent for complimentary food and drinks. The tent is located across from Houck Stadium and is a great place to mingle with fellow die-hard Redhawks fans.

9. Sundancers

Don’t miss the Sundancers performances throughout the game. The Sundancers will keep you entertained during stoppages in play and are a fun part of any Redhawks football game.

10. Southeast Missouri State-Murray State Rivalry

The Murray State Racers are Southeast Missouri State’s biggest rivals in the Ohio Valley Conference making every matchup between these two a can’t-miss. The Racers have gotten the better of the Redhawks over the years. However, you still won’t want to miss it whenever Murray State comes to town.
