The Toronto Argonauts are the Ti-Cats archrivals, and the two teams have been squaring off on the gridiron since 1873. Only 51 miles separate Hamilton and Toronto meaning you’ll find plenty of both teams fans at these games helping create a fun and tense atmosphere. If you can only get to one game during the season, then make sure to be in attendance when the Ti-Cats come to town.

Argonauts Tailgate Guide
Atmosphere
Tailgating is new to Argos games having just started last season following the team’s move to BMO Field. It may be in its infancy here, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have a fun time tailgating with your friends before the game. Everywhere you look, you’ll see Argos fans grilling out and throwing back some brews before the game.
If you want to set up a tailgate party, then make sure to get a Tailgate Parking Pass. The Tailgate Parking area is the only place that tailgating is allowed and is the perfect place to set up your tent, grill, coolers, and chairs. The one thing that is a bit of a bummer though is that you can’t bring your own alcohol but rather have to buy beer from the team at $4.00 a piece.
Those of you who aren’t looking to set up a tailgate, but still want to take part in the festivities will want to check out the Shipyard. The Shipyard is a fan festival area that offers everything you could want in a tailgating experience including food, drinks, and much more.
Tailgating is just getting started in Toronto, so come on out and be a part of the tradition from the beginning.
Stop by the Shipyard Fanfest before the game. At the Shipyard, you’ll be able to grab some food and drinks before the games and hang out with all your fellow Argos fans making it the perfect meeting spot before the game.
