Atmosphere

Tailgating is a huge part of the Towson game day experience. While the tailgating rules may have changed over the years, you still can’t get the full Tigers game day experience without tailgating before the game. Tigers fans love to tailgate, and it shows as everywhere you look you’ll see fans dressed in black and gold drinking and grilling before the game.

One of the best parts of the pregame festivities at Towson is the Tiger Walk. The Tiger Walk takes place two and a half hours before the game and gives you the opportunity to see the football team as they make their way to the stadium. Nothing will get you into the game day spirit quite like the Tiger Walk, so don’t miss it during your trip to Towson.

Finally, if you’re taking the kids to the game make sure to check out the Family Zone. The Family Zone is the perfect place to hang out before the game if you have young kids as it features lots of kid friendly entertainment and is alcohol-free.

You’ll love tailgating at Towson, so get here early and enjoy everything a Towson tailgate has to offer.
