Make sure to check out the bronze tiger statues around the Towson campus. The statues are a must-see for anyone visiting Towson, and there is one right outside SECU arena, so you won’t have to walk far from Johnny Unitas Stadium to see one.
2. Tiger Walk
Come on out and cheer on the Tigers as they make their way to the stadium. The Tiger Walk starts two and a half hours before kickoff and is the perfect way to get into the Towson game day spirit.
3. Towson University Marching Band
The Towson University Marching Band provides a fun atmosphere at every game with their tunes. Whether it’s their in-game music or their pregame performance, the TUMB puts on a fantastic show.
4. University Team Store
Stop by the University Team Store to pick up some Tigers gear at the game. Here you’ll find a wide variety of Towson merchandise including hats, sweatshirt, foam fingers, and much more.
5. Family Zone
Those of you bringing your kids to the game will want to stop by the Family Zone. The Family Zone features inflatables, face painting, and other kids activities making it a great place to take kids before the game.
6. Doc
Doc the Tiger is a fun part of every game and is beloved by Towson fans young and old. He gets into all kinds of antics during the game, so don’t miss Doc during your visit to Johnny Unitas Stadium.
7. Battle for Greater Baltimore
Local bragging rights are always on the line when Towson and Morgan State get together making the Battle for Greater Baltimore a must-see event. The two teams first met in 1979, and although the rivalry hasn’t been played since 2011, you won’t want to miss it when the Tigers and Bears square off.
8. Cheerleaders
The Towson cheerleaders will get you up on your feet with their cheers and chants. Join in and help give the Tigers as much of a home field advantage as possible.
