If you’re in Tulsa, then take some time to attend a Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball game. You can get tickets for as little as $5, and you’ll find everything you would expect in a college hoops game at the Reynolds Center.
The pep band, spirit squad, Captain Cane, and Reynolds Rowdies create a fun in-game atmosphere that will rivalry most found around the American Athletic Conference. The Reynolds Rowdies can get especially loud when rivals are in town, so if you want to see the Reynolds Center at its best get tickets when Tulsa squares off with Oral Roberts, Oklahoma, or Oklahoma State.
In addition to the fun atmosphere, you’ll find plenty of extras to check out at the Reynolds Center. The venue is home to several luxury suites, for those looking for a premium in-game experience, and there are lots of posters and banners to check out as well. There is even a poster of the 1999-2000 Tulsa team, who made a run to the Elite Eight.
If you’re looking for something to eat or drink after the game, then you’ll have to drive a couple of miles away from the arena. Tulsa does, however, have some great options outside of the immediate vicinity of the Reynolds Center including the Coney I-Lander, so you won’t have worry about going hungry.
A Golden Hurricane is a fun experience for anyone in the Tulsa area or making a trip to all American Athletic Conference arenas, so don’t hesitate to attend a Tulsa basketball game.

Banners
Hanging above the court are banners celebrating the Golden Hurricane’s many accomplishments and greatest players. The banners honor legends such as Jim King and Steve Harris, as well as the team’s run to the Elite Eight in 2000, so check them all out when attending a Tulsa game.
Elite Eight Poster
On the concourse, the Golden Hurricane have a poster of the greatest team in Tulsa history. Stop by the poster and remember all of your favorite moments from Tulsa’s Elite Eight appearance in 2000.
Donald W. Reynolds Statue
Stop by the statue of the arena’s namesake Donald W. Reynolds to learn more about the man behind the venue. The statue does a great job of honoring him and is a must-see for anyone making their first trip to Tulsa.
Hurricane Storm Center
If you need to get some Golden Hurricane gear then stop by the team store inside the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The store has just about any Tulsa gear you could want, so you won’t have to worry about leaving empty handed.
Basketball Band
The pep band at Tulsa games is comprised of members of the university’s incredible Sound of the Golden Hurricane Marching Band. The band creates an electric atmosphere at Tulsa games and is one of the best parts of any Golden Hurricane basketball game.
Reynolds Rowdies
The Tulsa student section, known as the Reynolds Rowdies, do an excellent job of spurring on their team to victory. The Reynolds Rowdies have helped the Golden Hurricane achieve an incredible .800 winning percentage at home, so come prepared to be serenaded with the cheers and taunts of the Reynolds Rowdies.
