The University of Tennessee Chattanooga goes all out to put on a fantastic tailgating experience. At Chattanooga, you’ll find lots to keep you entertained before the game including the First Tennessee Pavilion and the Mocs Block block party. Check out both during your visit to Chattanooga to get the full Mocs tailgating experience.

The First Tennessee Pavilion is a must-see for any tailgater as it’s home to the Moc Walk, Scrappy’s Kid Zone, and the Fan Zone. The Moc Walk is your chance to see your favorite players up close making it a can’t miss part of any Mocs game days. Those of you bringing kids will also want to stop by the First Tennessee Pavilion for Scrappy’s Kid Zone and the Fan Zone. The two areas offer activities, games, and inflatables making them a fun part of any Chattanooga tailgating experience.

The Mocs Block block party is also a fun part of tailgating before a UTC football game. The block party is home to the student tailgate area, and features live music. While most of the Mocs Block is for students, the pre game concerts are open to anyone in attendance so stop by and check them out.

A UTC game provides plenty of pregame entertainment and tailgating action making a trip to Chattanooga a must for any FCS football or tailgating fan.

Traditions

Moc Walk

The Moc Walk takes place two and a half hours before the game and is your chance to see the football team, coaches, cheerleaders, and Sugar Mocs before the game. Don’t miss your opportunity to give your favorite players some last minute inspiration before the game.

Scrappy’s Kid Zone

If you’re taking kids to the game, then make sure to stop by Scrappy’s Kid Zone. Scrappy’s Kid Zone features slides, inflatables, and a wide variety of other kids activities.

Fan Zone

The Fan Zone inside the First Tennessee Pavilion is a great place to hang out before the game. Here you’ll be able to play tailgate games like cornhole and ladder ball, as well as win all kinds of cool prizes.

Bronze Busts

Outside the main gate are busts dedicated to W. Max Finley and Gordon Lee Davenport. The busts celebrate two men who were instrumental in the construction of Finley Stadium and are both must-sees for Mocs fans.
