Weber State is home to one of the top basketball programs in the Big Sky and is one of the best-supported teams in the conference as well. You’ll find lots of support from the local community when attending a Weber State Wildcats as everyone in Ogden comes out to show their support for the team on game days. At every game, you’ll see lots of locals as well as local business sponsors making a Weber State basketball game a true Ogden institution.
In addition to lots of local support, you’ll also find tons of school spirit on display at a Wildcats game. The students who make up the student section go all out to root on the team, and the spirit groups are great as well. The cheerleaders make their presence known and you won’t want to miss Waldo the Wildcat, who gets into all kinds of antics during the game.
Before or after the game, head over to Harrison Boulevard to grab something to eat. You’ll find a variety of options here ranging from Mexican to pizza to Greek and much more. The Pie Pizzeria is a Utah favorite, and if you’re a craft beer lover then make sure to check out Roosters Brewing in downtown Ogden.

Waldo the Wildcat is a big part of any Weber State basketball game, so be on the lookout for this beloved mascot during your trip to Ogden. Waldo gets into all kinds of shenanigans during the game making him a must-see no matter what your age.
