Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba is the home of the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The 33,234-seat stadium opened in 2013 and cost $210 million to build.
Investors Group Field is yet to undergo any renovations. However, the facility can be expanded to a capacity 40,000 for major events such as the Grey Cup.
Since opening, Investors Group Field has hosted many notable events. The Blue Bombers played their first game at the stadium on June 27, 2013, when they took on the Montreal Alouettes. The stadium hosted its first Grey Cup in 2015, and that same year the stadium was the site of several 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup games. The venue has also hosted concerts featuring acts such as Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and Jay-Z.
