    3. Milwaukee Brewers

    When it comes to tailgating before a baseball game, nobody does it better than Brewers fans. Tailgating is an essential component to a baseball game in Milwaukee, and many fans will make the trip to Miller Park just for the tailgating. The parking lots surrounding Miller Park are a sea of grills, kegs, and party buses on game days.

    4. Kansas City Chiefs

    Kansas City Chiefs fans put on one if not the best tailgates in the NFL. Titled “The Asphalt Jungle,” the Arrowhead parking lot tailgate offers any food you could imagine and has been deemed by some as a true tailgate paradise. The food on display outside of Arrowhead Stadium is second to none when it comes to tailgate grub. You’ll also need to make sure to get to the stadium early to get a spot since they fill up quickly.

    5. Washington

    Husky Harbor in Union Bay is just steps away from the stadium making sailgating one of the premier tailgate spots at a Huskies game. Don’t worry though if you get a bit seasick as there is plenty of great tailgating to be had on land. In the parking lots around Husky Stadium, you’ll find plenty of your traditional tailgate sights including RVs, tents, and grills. Set up your tailgate, and you’ll make friends quickly as people love to share and show off their tailgate recipes.

     

    6. Notre Dame

    Notre Dame is home to arguably the best tailgate in the Midwest. South Bend may be a small town, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t put on quite the pregame party. Everyone here sets out early to get the most out of an Irish game day as set up begins as early as 8 am when the lots open.

    7. Texas

    Austin comes alive on Saturday’s, and the streets are filled with smokers, Shiner Bock, and thousands of fans celebrating one of Texas’ most beloved traditions. Texas fans tailgate hard as you’ll notice the minute you arrive in Austin. Everywhere you go, you’ll see people decked out in burnt orange and white. The area around campus on game day is crazy as all you’ll be able to see burnt orange tents and grills for miles and miles.

    8. Chicago Bears

    In Chicago, tailgating is as much a part of the lifeblood of the city as the Bears. If there is one thing Chicagoans love it’s grilled meat and after that it would probably be a close race between beer and da Bears. You’ll find one of the best tailgating scenes anywhere in the NFL when attending a game at Soldier Field, so come prepared to fire up the grill and throw back a few brewskis with a great group of fans.

    9. Texas Rangers

    Tailgating is in the blood of every Texas fan, so it should come as no surprise that outside The Ballpark in Arlington you’ll find some of the most serious tailgaters in baseball. Fans arrive at Rangers games bright and early to fire up the smokers and crack open some beers before the game.

    10. Auburn Tigers

    Tailgating and the pre-game celebration at Auburn University is a big part of game days for fans of the orange and blue. In fact, so many fans will come out to celebrate their love for the Tigers that Auburn becomes Alabama’s fifth-largest city on game days and has sold over 75,000 season tickets in the past eighteen years.

    11. Tennessee

    Tennessee provides a unique game day experiences filled with spirited chants, boats, great food, excellent company, and a whole lot of whiskey. A typical Volunteers tailgate starts about three and a half hours before kickoff, which will give you plenty of time to set up, get the drinks cold, and get the grills nice and hot!

    12. Pittsburgh Steelers

    Tailgating at a Steelers game is a great experience for any tailgate lover. Tailgating is a Sunday tradition for a lot of people in Pittsburgh, and as a result, the Steelers fans take tailgating very seriously. Regardless of if you love to grill, drink, or play tailgate games, a Steelers tailgate has something for you.

    13. Nebraska

    The area outside the stadium is a literal sea of red as the entire city of Lincoln wears red on game day; the fans/student section is even nicknamed “The Sea of Red.”  Unlike other teams and stadiums, there is always a “red out” and you’ll rarely see people in any other color.  When it comes to dress in and outside of the stadium anything with corn on it is always in play, including corn hats or taping some corn to your red clothes.

    14. Cleveland Browns

    Browns fans are very passionate about their team and even more passionate about their tailgating. If you’re wearing your brown and orange, then Browns tailgaters will be more than hospitable offering cold beers and delicious food.

    15. Philadelphia Phillies

    Even with the Phillies recent woes, fans still arrive early to get in a good day of drinking and grilling before the game. Citizens Bank Park is surrounded by a sea of parking lots, which Phillies fans take full advantage of setting up tents, grills, coolers, and cornhole.
